Holy Saturday

Holy Saturday is a day of final preparation as we await the celebration of Easter. No Mass may be celebrated on the day until the Great Vigil of Easter, which must not begin before nightfall. Until then, it is a time for prayer and quiet reflection.  Some parishes also offer the sacrament of reconciliation.
