Bishop James Ruggieri celebrated the diocese’s second Blue Mass of the year on Sunday, September 27, at Holy Rosary Church in Caribou. Dedicated to honoring all first responders, the Mass drew hundreds of faithful.

The first of the Diocese of Portland’s 2026 Blue Masses was celebrated on September 20 at the Basilica of Ss. Peter and Paul in Lewiston.

Twenty-five men including four priests and Bishop James Ruggieri were exemplified into the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus during a ceremony held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland.

The St. Thérèse Rosary Group in Sanford answered the call to make World Mission Rosaries.

As the sun was rising on Monday, July 13, five bicyclists headed out from St. Anne Church in Gorham, beginning a journey aimed at raising awareness about the value of human life, while helping young adults grow in holiness.
