Grounded in the gospel teachings of Jesus Christ, Catholic Charities Maine is a faith-based voice for compassionate social justice that lifts up people in need and transforms lives.

We empower and strengthen individuals and families of all faiths by providing innovative community-based social services throughout Maine around mental health, substance use disorders, senior outreach, child development, dental and orthodontic services, refugee and immigration, and food insecurity, among others.

An independent 501C3 not-for-profit organization, Catholic Charities Maine is the social service arm of the Church, bearing witness to the healing ministry of Jesus Christ through our advocacy, education, and services to the to the most vulnerable in Maine.

Catholic Charities Maine is a member agency of Catholic Charities USA, which provides leadership, advocacy, and technical assistance to 1,600+ independent local agencies and organizations across the United States.  The Agency is also Accredited by the National Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children, Inc.
