Adult Formation

Adult faith formation is essential to a vibrant Church. It helps adults deepen their relationship with Christ, grow in their understanding of Catholic teaching, and live their faith more fully in daily life. Through ongoing formation, adults are strengthened as disciples, as leaders within their families, and as life-long, active participants in the mission of the Church.

The Office of Lifelong Faith Formation partners with parishes to support catechetical efforts for adults seeking to enter the Church for the first time through Christian Initiation, as well as adults who were baptized as children and now desire to complete their sacraments, especially Confirmation. Formation opportunities are designed to meet adults where they are and accompany them toward full and active participation in the sacramental life of the Church.
