There are many ways to be engaged in the life of the Catholic church in Maine. The best place to start is at your local parish, where there are myriad opportunities to serve – whether as a eucharistic minister, joining parish councils, volunteering for and attending events, participating in social justice initiatives and more. In addition to parish involvement, various lay ministries exist in the diocese, along with religious orders.
